For safe abortions
Unsafe abortions are one of the most common, yet preventable, causes of death for women worldwide. Often, medical professionals simply lack the necessary expertise. This injustice inspired Kikko Neubert to develop "The Papaya Book" – a unique textbook disguised as a cookbook that teaches vital, World Health Organization-recommended methods for safe abortion.
This innovative book uses the papaya, whose structure resembles a pregnant woman's uterus, to vividly illustrate abortion methods and provide life-saving knowledge to medical professionals in countries with restrictive laws.
